Chopping up beats from old records is great fun and very nostalgic.

When I go to my record collection more often than not I am reminded of records I have bought having forgotten about them. It also reminds me of records I have either given away, sold or lost over the years. Regardless, you cannot beat the feeling of handling the record and transforming it into an audio sample to use later.

Cubase 6.5 has some great features to do this. We particularly appreciate the ability to slide audio around inside an edit event (shown in this video).
